European Sales Manager – Premium Scotch Whisky
A rare opportunity to join a long established independent Scotch whisky company with an international reputation for quality, creativity, and character.
As European Sales Manager, you’ll lead commercial growth across Europe and the UK, working with distributors, retailers, and internal teams to deliver strong results for a portfolio of award-winning Scotch whisky brands.
You’ll also manage the UK sales team, providing guidance, support, and direction. Alongside your European responsibilities, you’ll take direct ownership of the UK grocery channel developing key retail relationships and building effective plans to drive distribution and visibility.
Key responsibilities

Lead and support the UK sales team, setting clear targets and providing coaching to help them succeed

Manage the UK Grocery channel directly, working with major customers to deliver strong commercial outcomes

Develop and deliver annual sales plans across the UK and Europe

Manage and motivate distributors to ensure the brands perform consistently in each market

Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to align activation, pricing, and supply strategies

Analyse performance data, forecast accurately, and identify growth opportunities
You’ll bring

Proven commercial experience within premium drinks or FMCG, ideally with spirits exposure

Experience leading people and managing distributors or key accounts

Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills

A collaborative, positive approach with the confidence to work independently
