International Sales Manager – Asia, Middle East & Africa
An independent Scotch whisky company with a long family history and global outlook is seeking an International Sales Manager to lead growth across Asia, Middle East and Africa, as well as other emerging markets.
This is a key commercial role within a small, dynamic export team, responsible for managing and developing distributor partnerships across the regions.
You’ll be the main point of contact for partners in these territories, developing and delivering tailored sales plans, driving brand visibility, and ensuring the long-term success of a portfolio of premium whiskies.
Key responsibilities

Manage and grow existing distributor relationships across Asia and other assigned international markets

Develop and execute commercial strategies that deliver volume and profit targets

Identify and open new opportunities in priority markets

Lead annual business planning, forecasting, and pricing reviews

Support key trade shows, market visits, and brand-building activities

Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure smooth market delivery
You’ll bring

Demonstrated experience in export or international sales within drinks or premium FMCG

Strong knowledge of Asian markets, ideally including experience managing distributors

Commercial confidence, analytical ability, and cultural awareness

Excellent communication and presentation skills

The ability to travel regularly and work both independently and collaboratively
