The Customer Relationship Executive will play a key role in driving the sales of their premium whisky products through proactive relationship management. The successful candidate will have a passion for whisky and be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with customers, retailers, and distributors. They will identify sales opportunities, generate leads, and convert inquiries into sales, contributing to the growth and reputation of our brand in the UK market and potentially Internationally.
You will be responsible for:
Sales & Customer Engagement:
- Make outbound calls to existing and potential customers to promote our Whisky range, including new products, special editions and promotional offers.
- Handle inbound calls and enquiries with professionalism, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities through effective questioning and listening skills.
- Convert leads into sales by understanding customer needs, presenting suitable products and closing sales efficiently.
Account Management:
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with a portfolio of clients, including independent retailers, bars and direct consumers.
- Conduct regular follow-up calls with existing customers to ensure repeat business and build loyalty to the brand.
- Address customer concerns, provide product information and process orders accurately.
Product Knowledge & Market Awareness:
- Develop a deep understanding of our whisky products, including flavour profiles, and brand history.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products and market demands to effectively position our products and enhance sales techniques.
- Share insights and feedback from customers with the sales team to assist in product development and marketing strategies.
Sales Reporting & Target Achievement:
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets as set by the Sales Manager.
- Record detailed information on sales activities, customer interactions and order processing in the CRM system.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management, including insights into market trends and customer feedback.
You will have:
- Proven experience in a telesales or customer service role, ideally within the alcoholic beverages industry or luxury goods market.
- Experience in selling premium or artisanal products is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone
- Sales-driven, with a natural ability to persuade and influence.
- Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail in processing orders and managing client relationships.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and remain self-motivated.
